Oily, Congested, or Acne-prone skin Suggestions

Oily skin requires a bit more TLC than other skin types because of the effects oil buildup can have on the surface.

Acne Treatment

Acne is not the same as having blackheads. Acne can be painful and difficult to treat. We have a specialized facial to help treat and combat the effects of acne on the skin including pustules, redness, and inflammation.

Choose the Acne Facial if your skin concerns include:

  • Very oily skin

  • Hormonal issues (including teens)

  • Redness due to acne, pimples, or pustules

Oily Skin

The Oxygenating Treatment utilizes a chemical peel and oxygen complex that work together to reduce sebum production. The chemical peel helps those “little bumps” that congest the skin while the oxygen complex breathes light-rather than shine- back into the skin

Choose the Oxygenating Facial if your skin concerns include:

  • Overly oily skin

  • Smaller breakouts

  • Skin issues caused by stress

  • Hormonal skin

Large Pores

The Microdermabrasion treatment gently but efficiently removes dead skin buildup and excess sebum. You’ll see immediate results with this treatment, and continued facials can generate a major positive change in your skin.

Choose the Microdermabrasion treatment if your skin concerns include:

  • Enlarged pores

  • Excess sebum

  • Fine lines

  • Superficial sun damage

  • Texture and dullness

Combination to Oily Skin

Some people get oily throughout the day, especially in the T-Zone. Chemical peels are a form of exfoliation where the ingredients absorb and dissolve excess oil production.

Choose the Chemical Peel Facial if your concerns include:

  • Oily to very oily skin

  • Excess blackheads and whiteheads

  • Dull skin

  • Superficial damage to the skin caused by the sun

  • Fine lines

FAQ

Q: Are chemical peels painful?
A: There are several different types of chemical peels that range in intensity and strength. A low intensity chemical peel, such as glycolic acid, is gentle and most people only feel a mild tingling or nothing at all.

Q: Don’t chemical peels make your skin look red and irritated?
A: This is another myth. Chemical peels are federally regulated. The type that may cause that level of irritation are only available to dermatologists and require a medical consultation. The peels used in our treatment room are fairly mild and our estheticians monitor your skin’s reaction every step of the way.
